4-22 LKA Stripers

Got up at 3:45 to go catch bait.  Had 80+ blueback herring in the tank by 5:30.  Found a few fish early in one of the major creeks and quickly put two keepers in the cooler.  Then those fish disappeared and I had to go looking again.  Looked for about and hour and found the mother load.  Probably over 200 fish on the side scan.

Had 4 downlines going and everything started going off!  Probably boated 20 stripers in the next 25 minutes, and kept two more to make my limit.

Called two buddies over to join the action and they soon limited out too.
So I didn't feel so bad about getting up so early.............

Awesome!

Do you ever find them relating to structure or are they usually in open water following the bait?
