Traded grandsons last night and have Benjamin this week.  Got up at O'dark thirty and off we went looking.  After about 30 minutes we find fish.  Put out the normal spread and it doesn't take long.  It's a double.  He reels in the first fish and I boat it......then he takes on the the second fish.  One keeper and one short.  Get the rods back out and he gets several singles, two of which are keepers.  we have constant action for over 2 hours.  I told him that he had to reel ALL the fish in.  Then another double and he is now a real pro at keeping the lines from tangling.  Then another double that turns into a triple.  So I have to reel one of them in.  Five keepers now and it slows way down.   So we go looking again and find a bunch of scattered fish.  He puts the 8th keeper in the cooler just before 10 am.  We head to High Point Marina for a pic.

That was his second time getting a 2-man limit with me.  The other was 5 years ago.

His arms are pretty sore from reeling in over 20 stripers
