Front Royal river gauge forecasted to hit 12.4' by Sunday 2am. Luray river gauge forecasted to crest at 15' by 8pm this evening and farther upstream the Lynwood river gauge is cresting this afternoon at 17.5'.

Greg and I are supposed to go out with CT Campbell on Friday (10/4) down in Luray. Couldn’t go with him all summer due to low water. Now, flooding! ![]()

Couple months ago the wife & I hiked over that area and the water was low low rafts were getting stuck on the rocks

The river, just down from HF will be pure ‘doah mud for a bit.
I feel bad from the folks that got slammed by the flood. They can use a lot of help. A few organizations that support rescue and food efforts got a few of my shekels.

The Potomac is up 7ft at POR and it's believed someone took the opportunity to jump off the Rt15 bridge around 0830 this morning. A shoe was found. Loudoun and Frederick have been searching between POR and White's Ferry.
