Just saw this on the Shenandoah River page

Front Royal river gauge forecasted to hit 12.4' by Sunday 2am.  Luray river gauge forecasted to crest at 15' by 8pm this evening and farther upstream the Lynwood river gauge is cresting this afternoon at 17.5'.

Re: Just saw this on the Shenandoah River page

Greg and I are supposed to go out with CT Campbell on Friday (10/4) down in Luray. Couldn’t go with him all summer due to low water. Now, flooding! mad

We are lucky compared to South of us.  River looks good at the right bridge in pic #1.

Re: Just saw this on the Shenandoah River page

The river, just down from HF will be pure ‘doah mud for a bit.

I feel bad from the folks that got slammed by the flood. They can use a lot of help. A few organizations that support rescue and food efforts got a few of my shekels.

Re: Just saw this on the Shenandoah River page

The Potomac is up 7ft at POR and it's believed someone took the opportunity to jump off the Rt15 bridge around 0830 this morning. A shoe was found. Loudoun and Frederick have been searching between POR and White's Ferry.

Re: Just saw this on the Shenandoah River page

Sad news...

POR gauge is actually over 9',  below flood stage. And the water is 68dF.
