River Levels

I noticed the Potomac River level at Little Falls dipped below 5ft late this afternoon. Yay! I did think we dodged a bullet regarding river conditions in view of the recent storms.

Anyone been near the river today that can advise whether conditions above Little Falls are fishable? Thanks in advance for any intel!

Re: River Levels

Even though it is below 5 feet, the flow is over 20,000 cubic feet per second!  That is movin' along.  I would be very careful.......you will be surprised how fast the river is at that rate on the upper Potomac!
