Riverbend Yesterday
Kayak fished with my friend Roney at Riverbend yesterday for a few hours. Water was as clear as tapwater and very slow moving. Sunfish were very active but smallmouths weren't cooperating too often and most were small. However, Roney did land a monster...21"...on a white-chartreuse spinnerbait. Fish was in a grassbed in very shallow water and he fought well with a few leaps too. Certainly made the day worthwhile.
