Leeslyvania NHBA Tournament

I had the pleasure to fish the Leeslyvania tournament with Charlie Taylor.  Blast off was at 6 00.  We started throwing frogs and buzzbaits around high tide in the beginning and I had the first fish on a sizmic toad, but it was under 12" so back in the water it went.  We then moved to the point after a little while where we threw senkos and creature baits weightless and would let the current carry then down the current.  You would watch for your line to move and then a hard hook set.  I then had my first and second keeper.  Charlie Taylor kept catching non keepers and then caught a few keepers.  I then had my limit by 10a.m.  Went a while without a bite and then started culling.  Charlie then got his limit around 11... I think it was.  A little after 12 we moved to fish the grass mats.  We would through senkos in the holes, throw frogs, and I also tried punching grass mats.  Charlie Taylor caught a bunch of little ones.  At 2 we headed to the rocks outside of Leeslyvania park where we fished until a little before 3 when we pulled out for the weigh in.  While fishing the rocks Charlie Taylor had a nice 3lb bass on a senko.  Weigh in time!
