Jimmy and I made a run to launch from Edward's Ferry due to grass down river. We started off just around 6:30am. Water was green to brown depending on where we were. Fishing started a little slow until we made a stop almost to White's Ferry. We both had about 3 fish on, but they got off at the boat. We ran further up and floated some of the faster water.
We each got some bites. I finally got the skunk out with this little guy while Jimmy was unhooking one a little bigger.

We caught a few of these smaller fish throughout the day.

After we made a run upriver and made it through the gauntlet of shallow rocks and choked grass, we got to a spot that Jimmy caught some better fish, and I caught a couple smaller ones.

We saw deer, herons, and a few of these.
I caught my biggest as we were coming out of a chute from shallow to slightly deeper water. Bit a speed craw and was a chunky 16.5" that about pulled the rod from my hand.

On the way back, I stopped in a push water area with not TM and Jimmy hooked up on a salty crawler and then I hooked on on the speed craw. Double up.
I turned around with the TM and tried to replicate it. Jimmy got a hit, but I hooked up. Last fish before we got off the water about 1pm. Jimmy had 9 smallies and I landed about 6-7.
