Buxton NC report

Three days of nice 70's weather and one day it blew cold. Not much caught in the way of keeper fish. Lots of small fish. One big 150lb butterfly ray that was fun 25 minutes. Had a shark hit and it just kept going. Could not stop it and my 50lb braid was gone. Ran so fast that I burned my thumb on the spool trying to stop it. About 300 yards gone like that.
Caught
Puffers
Blues
trout
croaker
grunt
Three kinds of rays
shark
reds
spot
and silver perch.

A good sunburn too.

Nice Mike!  That's a good variety of fish.  I've seen sharks run and it's amazing how fast and strong they are.  Must have been like reeling in a piece of plywood with that big ray!  lol
