Pacemaker Fishing Forum

So we had planned a pickerel trip to Delaware but our guide is having really bad shoulder problems, so that was scratched. Wind was out of the west and gassing hard when I put the boat in on Mattawomen  creek. Fishing to the right in the leeward side till Dave showed up. No bites. Picked up Dave. Moved way back to get out of the wind and caught our first chunky bass. About 1 hour later I hook up and fight a good fish. It pulls off right at the boat. Never saw it. 5 minutes later Dave hooks up on a nice convict bass. Two hours later I get a bass. Wind is blasting down the creek and cold. Called it a day.
