7-19 Report

Weather was nice most of the trip last evening till Golden hour when a wall cloud chased us off the creek. Third time this year. High tide not very high but I push poled the boat way back and caught some nice LGMouth and a snakehead. Back out to main creek as tide flushed out quick. Pop R and Zipping ziggy caught several LGMouth on the creek edges.

By the time I had the boat on the trailer water was a foot deep in the boat. Frog choker like rain fell. I was soaked.

Great trip and great crew.

Good job finding them and making it out safe.  These rains have been soakers for sure.  Weather liars are in their prime.

Re: 7-19 Report

I was lucky that I didn't hit that intense rain until the drive home. Rinsed off the boat and trailer nicely. Good catches!
