July 3 in the pads

Went out after work to see what I can find at 3:30 with the outgoing tide.  Hit the pads to see what I could see.  Saw lots of aggressive strikes towards schools of fish, so I targeted them and caught a couple nice bass immediately.
I was having a good time with lot's of strikes and misses, but the thing I noticed was the pads were getting taller.....yeah, the water was going down fast and I had to abandon the spot since it get's shallow quick.  Not too long out there, but it was fun.

Strange thing for me is that a lot of pads were dying and there was not a single sighting of snakehead.

That's some good looking water. Surprised about the snakies. Maybe they are way back?
