4-16 Crappie

Perhaps I should have called it a "no go" day at the dock. Perhaps...But my boat was ready and my crew too. It was sporty on the main river with 3 foot chop. But we pounded the mile or two needed and setup in a creek with lots of shelter from the wind. First spot we caught two nice crappie and watching my FFS I saw the schools of crappie swim up to the minnow and around it and leave. This was a reoccurring theme for the rest of the day. Ended with 5 crappie and another sporty ride back to dock.

Good on them for sticking it out capt mike, but that sounds like a rough day for sure all around.
