Carp trip

With ice off the creek and a very warm day predicted I met up with Joe A and Joe B. They arrived hours before me and caught one carp. I arrived at 10 am and forgot my net and rod pod. Went old style with two rods on a portable table I did not forget to bring. Joe A. had the hotspot with 5 carp landed and maybe we lost 5 more. I went to my truck and while away one of my rods gets a hit and Joe B. reeled it in. They left at 1pm to beet the traffic and I stayed till 3pm. Wind picked up and pushed a lot debris into my lines. So I packed up.
Got a nice red sunburn face and feels great.

Re: Carp trip

Awesome Capt Mike.  I have to try doing a little Carp fishing this year from the yak.  They are thick when they spawn!
