Had some free time so I launched at my marina down the street from me. It took me a minute to get used to my positioning for peddling (as in I was not close enough to peddle comfortably). But once I adjusted my seat and settled in I was on my way.
It was a hot day (all of a sudden) and there was a slight wind, but no issues. The peddle system is pretty awesome. I was moving easily and quickly and this yak is comfortable and very stable. Way more than my feelfree lure. Anyway, I get to my spot where I had to raise the peddle drive and use my paddles since there was so much grass already. I crossed into a section that was shallow and I have never seen boats in (probably because of all the grass and shallowness).
It was a nice spot that was serene and I was able to stand up easily and fish the pads as Capt Mike taught me. I had a few blow ups, but nothing hooked using topwater frogs. But, I did get to see a lot of carp spawning I think. The tops of their fins were out of the water and they were doing the hustle.
No fish pics to show since I didn't get anything, but here are a couple shots of the event!

Comfortable and stable. Those are the keys especially as we get wiser. Great looking set up!

that's an impressive looking set up!! I'm amazed at how far kayak fishing has come. I was tempted to get back into it....and then i got sticker shock lol. They weren't cheap before but now it's the price of a small traditional boat.

I agree on the sticker shock. I got it when I decided to update what I had. I bought my first about 7-8 yrs ago and cost around 1k. I thought that was high! lol. These new ones are basically small boats though. This is 38 inches wide, swivel seat, lot's of electronic panels and places to add accessories and really thick plastic material unlike my previous yak. They show that this one is capable of adding a motor setup and micro poles (that's a whole different discussion of prices.....might as well add another 2-3k). I don't need all that. This setup as it sits....cost about 4k (I wish more people would just lay out the cost of things so we're all prepared). More than I wanted to spend, but it checked all the boxes for me. I figure I'll have it for 10-15 years, so it's a long term investment.
