Bank Fishing
Can the lakes in Ashburn Village be fished from the bank, or do you really need to get out in the middle of them with a boat? Is there a particular lake or lakes that are better for bank fishing?

most of them are accessible from the bank until mid/late summer when the vegetation takes over and cuts off most access. pavillion and ashburn lake have least access at mid/end of summer, all the rest are pretty accessable.

Welcome magicm! Most of the reports for the Ashburn lakes are from the banks. I think that gives you an idea of how well you can do. I don't have enough experience to answer your second question.
