So I am pretty close to finishing up my Commander 140, however I am stuck on one part.
I have the battery box placed under the bow up against a foam block that is glued in and I want it to stay their.
This is the only picture I have right now:
It rests in that crease in the middle, leaning to one side. I need to figure out a way to keep it their so that it does not slide forward.
Any ideas will help!

Maybe cut a base out of the pink insulating panels they sell at Home Depot. Cut it like a "V" to sit in the bottom of your boat. You could use velcro to hold the foam to the bottom and the battery to the foam. Might cushion everything nicely and would certainly be easy to build and replace.

When you say forward do you mean towards the open space or towards the end? Can you just goop a pool noodle across and cut an angle on each end to be flush with your boat. Then you have a little dam for it.
How's fishing been down by you? Are you home for the summer?

I think that the foam/pool noodle idea will work. Thanks!

Fishing has been pretty good! I have not been able to get out as much as I would like too, because of work and working on the new yak. I will be back in NOVA Aug 1-14 to take care of some doctors appointments and get a bunch of fishing in! Then school starts, which means not as much work and more fishing!!!
