The Rain

How is the rain going to effect fishing?(local ponds, upper potomac, resevoir)  How does it change you presentation techniques and what kind of bait your using?

Re: The Rain

Charlie,

Each of the scenarios will be different.

1. Local ponds- if no discoloration, the fish never felt the rain. They only felt pressure changes.
2. UP- could get fast and discolored and being on the water may not be an option. Check the river gauges and you will see how much the rise was. This will only be a temporary issue and depends on how much rain we get and how hard it rained.
3. Reservoir- if the level rises, some of the good “spots” that Brian has been on could change a bit and you would need to find new ones. They never go away; they just change with the water level.

I hope his helps but it’s just a beginning.

PS- Curly loves to fish in the rain.....very good tactic as long as here is no lightning!!

Time to go fishin' again!
