I understand the procedure is much better now than it was 20 years ago....let's hope your recovery is the same!

Pretty easy. Home before noon from a 9:30 procedure. Four little slits in my belly covered by steri-strips (no stitches). Only soreness is lower abdominal muscles.....they must have torqued them a little to get where they wanted to go. Otherwise, good to go. Might sneak out of the house tomorrow to get a little fishing in if it warms up enough in the afternoon.

not any more than normal I guess.......just had several small gall stones in it.

I do know that my wallet weighs a whole lot less.....even with BC/BS. I was a little taken back when they told me the up front amount to be paid at the registration desk.

No way my wife would let me go fishing the same day as the surgery (yesterday).

But she has to go somewhere around 2 pm today......my chance to get out an make a few casts

3pm update: Tippecanoe was frozen solid...........
