cedar tues

i solved the mystery of last night's big one that got away:

i threw a jig n pig at the rocks about 8:30

got  bit on the drop

i fought that same cat i caught in the spring.

that is one powerful fish

tonight i backed the drag way off and used my thumb to brake the spool

when i landed it it had my jig in its mouth from last night

it weighed 12.8

i took a pic on the cell and didnt press save

went to leeslyvania today for a few hours.
best fish was a 4.2

Nicely done.....if that was a channel cat, he was about 9 lbs three years ago!

Re: cedar tues

It's unofficial....no pictures...though I have seen it in person (one ugly catfish). Let's get on Jeffie to take some pics. Come on big man, show those photography skills!

Re: cedar tues

Walter will be the "unofficial" name until caught again.

Time to bring out the ancient St. Croix glass rod and get some day old hot dogs!
