Presenters: Jeff Little and Chad Hoover
Date and Time: Sunday May 17th, 2009 from Noon until whenever the questions end.
Location: The Blue Mountain Outfitters Demo Day held on the Marysville Lions Club Pond. The pond is located across Route 15 from Blue Mountain Outfitters about a quarter mile south of the shop. The ball fields and pond are barely visible from route 15. Look for signs to know where to make the turn. A flotilla of kayaks and canoes will be a good indication that you’ve found it.
Jeff Little, author of My Life in a Kayak: In Pursuit of Trophy Smallmouth Bass teaches kayak fishing skills on several Mid Atlantic Rivers, including the Susquehanna and it’s tributaries. He will be presenting material from both his book and his kayak fishing class. Topics will include: paddling technique for stealth approaches, using trip reports to retain productive fishing patterns, how to relate USGS stream flow gauges to productive fishing, and seasonal patterns for Susquehanna smallmouth.
Chad Hoover, author of the soon to be released Kayak Fishing for Bass and founder of Kayakbassfishing.com will be presenting kayak fishing tactics for largemouth bass. Chad will be presenting on trip planning, observing and acting on subtle environmental signs to find fish, kayak rigging, depthfinder and GPS use, and seasonal patterns for largemouth bass.
HawgHead Baits has supplied sample packs for all participants who register for the Kayak Fishing Clinic at the following link: http://www.kayakbassfishing.com/phpBB3/ … &t=776
Anyone who cares to put some new knowledge to use may join Jeff and Chad on the river following the clinic.

I believe this is a few miles north of Harrisburg so it's probably 1.5-2 hours away.
