River 4/25/24

Committed to get out today, even with the cooler temps.  Mostly due to lighter winds.  Crew team was on the water before me.  I made a couple casts nearby, but then worked my way upriver.  Not a sniff at the first 2 spots.

Long ride did not pay off and I worked hard to move around and anchor in spots,  Lots of wildlife.   Mr. Fox before he made it to his lair.  Black, gray and fox squirrels, a racoon and I got a picture of my competition (Ha!).

Before I made it all the way back, I got the skunk off on a Ned.  Super hefty 14 with red eyes..

I hooked another one soon after, but no measurement.

I enjoyed the day, but my back is feeling it. Off the water about 2pm.  I think they are getting "busy".

Always wishin' I was fishin'

That little 14 certainly is chunky.
