Jim's usual mate was not available again so I stepped in to help. Wednesday was a cold miserable cold rain.......yes cold. Did I say miserable? Had two boys, dad, and grandad from Loudoun County. The crew did great in the pouring rain. The boys did all the catching while dad and grandad rooted them on. In all they had 8 keepers in a 4 hour charter.
Today was no rain but cold and windy. Had a crew of 5 from W. Va. It was a 6 hour charter and they did very well catching. The 2 teenagers and mom did the catching. Most of our fish were caught early with only one in the last 2 hours.
Grandsons show up tomorrow for spring break. Hope the weather holds for fishing!

Nice fish! What do they do with those bellies full of eggs? Is there successful striper spawning in the lake?

It's very cool to see successful trips like this. And, I recognize a hybrid on the far right now. See....I'm trainable!
