2-28-24 Report

Tough day of fishing due to high winds. Predicted out of the SSE and by launch time it was SSW and nearly closed all access to fishing spots. First hour was trying to find a spot that would hold anchor. We found one and the bite was quick as the tide started running out real fast. The wind increased to gusts of 40 and held for a while. Boat was pushed by the wind and pulled by the tide. Managed 9 eaters and ran for the ramp before the bad stuff showed up. About mile from ramp motor goes into limp mode (4 cylinders instead of 6) and we idle back to ramp. Off to the shop for repairs.

Dang Capt Mike!  You are hardcore for making this happen.  The winds were crazy and I'm surprised you were able to hold at times and be successful too!  Great job!
