Glide baits are a rabbit hole for sure. The baits cost a pretty penny and you need the right rod and reel for them too. Oh and 20lb fluorocarbon line too. Lets do the math.
3 Baits about 50 bucks each to 150 each
Rod about 200
Reel about 200
Line about 40

Maybe 600.00 for one rig with lures.

I am so ready to try them..

Capt. Mike wrote down what I was thinking. I actually owned a custom built swim bait rod, made especially for these big, expensive lures. Then I did the math.

So I gave the rod away!

Well I bought a Flow Rider 130 today at Dicks. 24 bucks. Gonna use it on my existing rod and reel. So I got my big toe wet and will not go down the rabbit hole. I went in to buy split shots..LOL
