Guests

I have had the opportunity to monitor the FORUM today (at a not too exiting conference) and noticed many Guests on line. At one time, we had as many as 6 Guests viewing the FORUM. I think this is great and invite the Guests to Register so we can hear from then.

The Registration door is open!

Re: Guests

Hey All, I've been a "Lurker" for a few weeks.  I live in Ashburn (2 years now) and have been looking for an information source for fishing around here.  I grew up in Illinois and spent countless hours fishing crystal clear strip mines for bass and crappie (Biggest bass was a 6.5 lb, biggest crappie..a 2 1/4 lb monster) .  Moved out East about 8 years ago and haven't really had an opportunity to get out and fish.  Being unfamiliar with the area and having no fishing friends in the area makes it a little rough.  Glad to find this site and glad to finally figure out how to register!

As an FYI, love fishing carolina rigged lizards, jig and pig (old school pork trailer), and........early morning buzzbait.  If you see someone throwing a lure that sounds like a small plane it's probably me with my favorite double bladed buzzbait.

Re: Guests

Thanks Ernie.  I was just looking at some of the older posts and see that a lot of you use Kayaks.......never fished from one but they do look interesting and probably make a lot of sense around here.  I've got some canoe experience but mainly fished from flat bottom john boats.

I do appreciate the offer, and who knows....may take you guys up on it sometime.  Looking forward to seeing what the year brings and hopefully seeing/meeting some of you.

Haven't been out yet this year, but I see some warmer weather coming after this snowstorm that might get me out of the house.

Thanks again.
