11-12-23 Report

Had a rescheduled catfish charter and boy was it chilly with a steady 15 mph wind from the North. Tide was high when we launched and off the the grocery store we went. With North winds and outgoing tide the river laid down really nice. Slow start with a few doubles and triples had me wondering if I put the anchor in the right spot. But that cold wind kept me from pulling the anchor with frozen hands. Long as the bite was steady we would ride the tide out on the first anchor set. Big fish was a handful for this young man.
