Rob Mitchell

For those who knew him, Rob passed away in his sleep yesterday, just a few days after his birthday.

I met him a few years back...was part of a group of outstanding fishermen who are still good friends (Thai T., Paul N., Andrew D., Mike B., Dan S. and others) of mine to this day.

I remember him coming out to a couple of the BRHS Fishing Club tournies and helping the kids. Great guy!

May he RIP...

Time to go fishin' again!

Re: Rob Mitchell

Never easy losing a good friend. Fishing is a hobby that has really diversified my pool of friends. Never would've met some of the amazing people or have the friendships i have today, if i never wet a line. It was thanks to this man that I dove into bass fishing and met a lot of these anglers. he taught me most of the stuff I know about bass fishing and threw in a few life lessons here and there. Rain, snow, hot, or cold, if i wanted to fish, he'd come out and meet me up. Really miss him and his passing has made me realize i need to put more of an effort into seeing old friends.
