This has got to be most messed up year in fishing for me. So many last minute cancels. Think I had 8 canceled trips and 4 zero trips. But on the other hand we really got in to snakehead this year. Big bass also and those convict bass when i could find them biting. Crappie trips in the messed up weather of April where not great and the shad just never showed on my creek. I blame weather......
But I had a great year on the books. Think the nice summer weather helped the books.
Going to learn carp soon and may take a liking to it. (another revenue stream out)
Fell in love with BFS tackle and bought one rig for myself. I you like baitcasters you will like BFS.
Boat's stayed pretty healthy this year except one bad battery.
Gas the last month in my bay boat did hurt with 50 gallons burnt lately. Plus a gallon of 45 dollar oil.
Clients where great this year and really enjoyed guiding them. Even the Zero trips we had fun.
Yea maybe a good year if I tilt my head just right..
Thanks

I think ya have your head tilted on right. Can't do much about things not under your control.
I enjoy throwing my baitcatser especially for white perch and smallies with the smaller baits. Conditions have to be right though.

Can you post some details of this offering?

Well it is similar to catfish except rods are lighter and line is lighter and hooks small. Like #2 size hair hooks. Baitrunners are employed for that first run and no hookset. Just turn handle to engage normal drag and hold on. You can not put a lot of pressure on a carp or that small hook will straighten out or rip out. They are always hooked on the bottom lip BTW.
Fruity Pebbles is the bait and since every carper has his own twist on bait it gets really interesting. You go thru two big Tupperware containers of bait each trip. One cool thing is the fishing takes place in sheltered creek areas. No running and mostly no wind.
I charge 400.00 for two persons and a third is 25.00 more.
Fish by tides and it is a great winter fishery. Oct thru April. You can contact me via text 202 439 1410 a few days before a nice weather window and we will go. No Monday or Tuesday ( that's my weekend)
Any questions?
