April 2nd report

Winds out of the NW at 40 all morning blew all the water out of the Potomac. Just getting out the marina was a very muddy affair. Plan was to get back in a creek out of the wind. But the creek was almost dry. Some how after getting pounded on the main river I found a foot of water to slide the boat down the creek to deeper water and sheltered from the wind. Managed 7 crappie and some WP and few cats for a tough day of fishing. 6 hours later at high tide we had 18 inches of water getting out of creek.
