It's starting to get better!
Bob and I were on the water by 7:45 this morning.
Weather was nice, about 45dF at launch time. Wind was predicted for later but it never became an issue for us.
Slimy green stuff was a PIA.
Bob took the skunk off right before 8a!
And he caught a few more...
...before I finally got one.
The fishing was certainly batter than last time when we caught 15.
This time, I caught 9. Bob only had one double...felt bad for him. He caught some (5+ 5+ 5+ 5 + 3).
He actually had me down 12 0or 13 to one when I tried to make a run on him.
Didn't quite get there!
The want it low and fairly slow still. Not quite as active as they will get.
We ran in to Carl again in his Lund and then also with Tom in his Lund.
Not sure what the weather in the next few days will do to them. Bob and I are supposed to go back on Tuesday but am sure I will not go out in the predicted launch time temps ( 25-32dF ). Maybe we do an afternoon trip....
Oh...another great lunch at Brickmaker's!!

Bob had 23 to my 9 including one at 16.5". Some fatties!
A fella came by, all exited, as he had just caught a 20"er! I'll have to go back and review to see if we have caught a 20"er. That's a nice hick!
