Donating to a great cause!

As you know, the Wounded Heroes Fishing Project has taken some vets fishing on the Redeemer. Great boat and great program. I have led these trips and they have been a blast!!

If you have a few pesos that you might want to send to a great program, please read below:

Why would someone give to Fish Redeemer?

Glad you asked!

This past 2021 fishing season, starting in May with Lance Garms and his family and friends, Fish Redeemer had a total of 15 fishing trip bookings and were able to complete 12 of those 15 trips as 2 were cancelled due to inclement weather and the other had a sudden illness and had to cancel at the last minute.

Fish Redeemer had 14 volunteers who offered their time, shared their love of being on the water and fishing and cared to serve others.

Fish Redeemer realized some highs and lows as our volunteers serving on the trips got to experience first-hand the excitement, joy and gratitude these wheelchair-bound fisherman and their families and friends experienced.

But we mourned in the loss of our friend and boat captain, Greg Drury.

Our season for this year is done. We are looking forward to the upcoming 2022 fish season and we are asking if you would be willing to help out for the upcoming year to help us to better serve our community.

What is so special about Fish Redeemer that I would give to it?

Glad you asked!

• We are providing a service that no one else does.  No one has a boat and an operation that allows a wheelchair bound person to be this empowered and retain their dignity.

• Charter boat group rates for this size boat are $650 - $800 depending on the season.  We charge $350 per group for non-veterans and $200 for veterans. As we know, most wheelchair bound families are financially burdened already.

• With our volunteers and Redeemer being a new boat, we have low expenses.

Your tax deductible gift will go a long way in providing some real joy to those in need.

You can donate on www.fishredeemer.org.

Or make a check payable to "Fish Redeemer" and mail to:

Thank you in advance for your kind contribution!
