I bought new tires and put them on galvanized wheels I had. I am taking a trip and want to make sure I am not messing up the new tires. I am having trouble finding any place nearby that will balance 8 inch wheels. Any suggestions for somewhere near Sterling?

Never mind, I found a place on Shaw Road. Thanks.

I've never got them balanced. Just bought new ones

I bought new tires and had a 4.5 hour drive. Small trailer can bounce around and ruin new tires, plus makes driving around the big trucks on 81 dangerous. $20 well spent.

I've never bought a trailer tire - normally they come with a rim. How much was the tire?
Tire+rim is usually around $80

I had extra rims. Tires were about $55.00 with shipping. Had to buy $100 to get free shipping. These are the best ones I have had since I bought the trailer. I bought a set with rims at Wal Mart that only lasted a year. They are about bald. With rims, these would have been about $90 I think.
I still have 4 old tires with rims I need to get rid of. Dump charges. I was hoping to get them off the rims so I could recycle those for a little $$. Removing tires is not easy, so still in my garage.

I got a couple tires from a trailer place in Manassas 20 years ago.
When I got the Jeep took the trailer to the same shop and had them go over it since I'll be putting miles. Asked them to replace the tires and they said "Why? These are brand new".
I've heard bad things about boat stuff at Walmart. Cheap - but you get what you pay for
