Around 7:15pm a third party called on behalf of the husband reporting that he'd lost track of his wife. Later the husband's phone was able to track his wife's phone to north end of the reservoir. The paddleboard and dry bag with phone were found in the area of the dam. She is wearing a black wetsuit. Husband never saw her other than north of the Reservoir Rd launch site.
The Fairfax helo searched for about an another. There are several Loudoun and Fairfax boats searching. A Fairfax K9 units is on one boat.
The Fox news helo circled for a bit earlier and now the joint NBC/ABC helo is there.
Senior LCSO officers are gathering at Mt Hope Rd.

Her sandals were also found. When they asked the K9 if they wanted those for scent tracking they were told it's not that kind of K9.

Very sad indeed...
Water temps under 70df scare me.
How long can a person survive in cold water?
Water Temperature Expected Time Before Exhaustion or Unconsciousness
50–60° 1 – 2 hours
60–70° 2 – 7 hours
70–80° 3 – 12 hours
> 80° Indefinite

Looks like a wetsuit to me like I reported. One of the news article reported she was wearing something completely different.??? I would've figured she would've stayed afloat with a wetsuit on.
