Mattowomen 5/27

Fished in the early evening at high tide with the wife. It was gorgeous and the light wind kept us cool. Wife got on the board real quick with a 1lb LGMouth. Then a nice snakehead hits her lure right at the boat. It scared her and she yelped and forgot to set the hook as it dragged her rod sideways. Comical moment only to be followed by another. I saw a nice LGMouth take my swimmy bait and waited to set the hook. Perfect timing and set the hook. It came flying out of the water with no LGMouth attached. Wife had a submarine follow by a smaller snakehead and she ripped the lure away so it would not eat it. HMM> wrong reaction.
Off the water by martini time.

Nice day on my favorite creek.

Re: Mattowomen 5/27

My wife has no interest in fishing but she's glad that I do...and am gone a few days a week!

Time to go fishin' again!
