Been a while since I posted. I keep forgetting and then when I do remember, its feel too late. This time I made sure to remember to post a timely report (from last weekend)
All fish were caught in 3-4 fow in grassy areas. Got fouled up too much so I had to downsize to a 1/8oz. Most successful lure was a white paddle tail with specks (pictured below). Air temperature was in the low 80s and water surface temp was around 74. Had a lot of dink stripers but managed 4 keeper size in the mix. The best surprise were the specks. I was so happy to see them again in the mid bay.
The day started off with this little guy:
Followed by this guy about 15 minutes later:
The day went on with a lot of stripers with these specimens topping the charts:
This one deserved an honorable mention... he was actually hooked in the lip! Crazy rockfish!
Of course no AbuMasgouf report is complete without the 'after' pics:
This was the 24" Striper
I turned the speck into little fish pancakes.

I legit start drooling when I saw those after pics. I still am as I'm writing this haha. If fishing is "before" and plated food is "after", I say no AbuMasgouf post is complete without the "during" pictures of the actual masgoufing!!
