John and I knew the water was high, fast and dirty but we needed to get out...so we did!
We made the long run and caught a few.
I got the skunk off with this blurry monster!
Then John got a hit, a jump and a spit off when he jumped.....little dink but it was a bite.
I then caught another 18' wannabe, an 11 incher!
We drifted some more and right be the boat John sees a huge submarine come up and eat a minnow. We were surprised by what we saw. Thinking that the fish was long gone, we continued to fish but John threw in the general area and got rewarded by this chunky 15.5 incher!
He then added another dink.
We had spent 3 hours pounding this area so we decided to leave fish....to never get another bite! We tried many a spot too!
When we went up the Goose, the water had some green so we were exited.
All I have for you is this pic of dirty branches, where the water was a few days back. Easily 6-7'!
Sammies were great, should have taken a picture.
My arm is sore form making so many casts.
We both enjoyed being out on the water as we saw alligators, iguanas, swans and some local eagles and owls.

When fishing is slow your mind wanders. There were many branches and trees floating down the river and they each had their own shape. Thus, the variety of animals seen.
