6-14-16, Cedar

Tried a top water bass fly just after sunrise but only had a few nips from BG's.

Then I switched to a minnow pattern and had 2 bites and 1 hook up....solid pounder!

Back to the grind after a quick breakfast....

Re: 6-14-16, Cedar

Went out after my last call and tried for BGs.

HUGE mistake.........in leaving my phone and ruler behind.

They were bunched and ticked off when my fly got close. Was cool to see a small LMB beat them to the fly.  All sight casting.

It is a bunch of fun...they were putting a serious bend on the 4wt last night.

A little bit of everything....ant, spider and hoppers for Blue Gills and various top water for bass. Plus streamer minnow patterns. But i just usually grab what's available and don't know the names of the flies I am throwing.
