I got the day off and decided to take advantage of the warm weather we are having. Hit my local section of the Upper Potomac. Morning started out mostly cloudy and breezy with a cold front due to pass through. Water was nice and green and the air temps started in the low 60's. I decided to fish a shoreline to stay out of the 10-15mph winds. My first fish was caught on a tube near shore. It was a nice, dark 17"er.
About an hour later, I caught this chunky 18'er on a rebel craw.
The cold front passed through and it cleared and was windy. The day was really nice, with a high of 70 degrees. I saw ducks, geese and two red foxes. I was floating and fishing, but no more fish.
I will take quality over quantity for a first trip out!

Went out again for a bit today. Same deal, only 2 fish and bite shut down. The first was barely 19" and other was small. Got cold.
Bald Eagles were out.

I decided to sleep in and it was just kind of a last minute deal. Water is in the 50's. Fish are not really chasing anything yet.
