Someone just caught a 3+ foot snakehead on the Pohick side of Belvoir a couple weeks ago. It was huge. I can't find the pic.

I was speaking with a Keith Reeve today, former BFL angler, and he actually said that snakeheads are good eating!!! While the name, look, and overall representation of these fish is nasty, they apparently aren't too bad when cooked. If you get out there and catch one, try frying it up!
If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

John Odenkirk will be speaking about them at the CCA meeting this Wednesday. He loves to eat them!
A couple of guys (Simon and Jeremy) went out Saturday looking for them in their yaks but they didn't catch any. But they caught lots of bass and yellow perch so it was a good day for them.
