After a few sub-14"ers, this one was next......20.75" an 5.13 lbs.
Final big bass was 18" and 3.86 lbs.

Is there anything else worth using?

I have braid on both of my baitcasters right now.
I actually prefer casting mono .
I like braid for knot longevity and hookset leverage.
Fluro just too expensive in my book.
I use tungsten for Texas rigs

Did some froggin' this morning and had 3 bites. But they were strange bites and after paying closer attention on the 3rd one, it was a snapping turtle looking to have frog legs for breakfast....no fish landed.
