Is it true that there is a plan to develop some condo/shopping/restaurant area at the lake?

Re: Lake Anna House for Sale Right next to Dike 3

There are plans to further develop the area.  You can see it at Anna Point where the condo's and slips have already filled up and there are a couple good restaurants there (as well as a gym, hair salon, coffee shop, etc).  The shopping center off Kentucky Springs is a huge boost (food lion, Chinese rest, pizza, subway, ABC!!!, Vet center, Nail salon).  The plans to develop that golf course community (cutalong) seems to have picked up steam, so we'll see how that works out.  The bottom line is.....while this is great for the lake community at large, it will only add to the boating traffic on the public side (cold side).  Being on the private side (warm side) has  a lot of advantages with little boating traffic, but there are no places to boat too for restaurants or fuel....it's actually the way I like it.  Not as many idiots and having my own boat ramp and slip allows me to be pretty flexible with friends who want to bring their boat.  There are no plans to build condo's on the private side as far as I know.....
