I am looking forward to catching many a white perch on UL tackle as well as redfish, speckled trout and whatever else I might run across. I doubt I will target stripers much this summer.

I like his suggestions for striper harvest.

Not sure if I will fish for specks this year since a lot of them died over the winter. Last time that happened the fishing sucked for a year or so. Guess I will wait and see how others are doing.

Awesome write-up. Being fairly new around here, I learned a lot from reading through his notes about each species. Anywhere I can go white perch fishing in my kayak? He talked me into trying

Just found out that Virginia decided to close the speckled trout fishery until August.
