Bruce met me at the house at 7am and we were fishing out of Gravely Point by 8am. Wind was under 10 MPH when we started. Thirty minutes later............20 MPH with white caps and 3 foot rollers. Boat back on the trailer by 8:45. Hit one of the AV ponds for about 45 minutes after we got home (only one bass on an Alabama rig). Home in time for a noon nap.

I bet that was fun crossing back to the ramp.....

What's one man's fun is another man's fear. Glad I packed a tube of Preparation H with me...

When we got back to the ramp, Bruce says, "you were grinning as we came through that rough water".
My reply........"No, I was gritting my teeth!"

I can just imagine since your boat is so low to the water....Bruce was staring out at water right next to him as you rolled through those swells. That south wind will push some water in DC!
