Upper Pot
got up early and went and fished the upper potomac. Started with a frog and worked the shore grass. Had a ton of blow ups but only connected on about 10. All smallmouths. Nothing too big, biggest was probably a foot. The water is gin clean and shallow right now. You could probably walk to maryland and only get about waist deep at the worst.

Did you wade it or yak it?
A 12" smallie is well worth the fight especially if the tackle is light.....
Time to go fishin' again!

A little bit of both. Kayak'ed out but it was shallow enough on spots that I just put it on the rocks and did a little stalking up river through the grass beds.
I didn't have the UL with me, I had just packed the ML spinning and handfull of frog bound and determined that I was going to fish only topwater.
