Shenandoah 6/23

I fished from about 0630 to 1500.   Launched at Morgan's Ford and eventually got about two miles upriver doing most of my fishing on the way.  The area where I stopped was also the deepest water I found, 8ft.  I did hookup with one smallie there on a rage tail craw but it got off after shooting out of the water.

I had a good time.  Smallies seemed to be lacking though, the upper Potomac is definitely better.  The video covers the rest.  I tried out one of my camera's capabilities for the first time, you'll see what I mean right away.

Re: Shenandoah 6/23

You had a lot going on trying to bring in that fish.  Pretty funny watching you go down the rapids backwards, fighting the fish, paddling, and trying to get the kayak back to the fish all at the same time.  Really nice fish and a great fight.  That must have been a ton of fun.

Re: Shenandoah 6/23

The last thing I needed to happen was get washed down the rapids then have the carp go upstream.  That would've been really tough.
