Powhatan Pond Report - 05/13/12

In between furniture assembly projects for the new house, I was able to escape and throw a line in an isolated pond. It took a little walk through some waist high hay fields, but the top water pop-r bite was on. I landed three bass with the biggest going around 14in.

My kayak is at my cousin's house. I really need to get that home so I can hit the James and some other lakes/ponds around here. I'll have more to report and I'll use a camera instead of my iPhone for easier uploads.

I have a fishing expedition in two weeks up in WVA/PA with a guide fly-fishing for smallies. I'll be sure to post after that trip.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

I figured you were up to your eyeballs with the new house. Glad you got out and look forward to the report in 2 weeks!

Time to go fishin' again!
