Tried yesterday afternoon in the rain with Tyler right out front of Ernie's house.  NADA!  But at least we started the New Year off right by fishing the first day.  Happy New Year everyone!  Tight lines for the next 365.

I didn't want to bother you on New Years Day.  Thought you might have been out dancing all night New Years Eve and didn't want to wake you up! Ha!

Tyler and I got the new fly rods.  Next warmish day on a weekend I will give you a call and see if we can get some basics from you.  Tyler is already doing pretty well, but he is making it up as he goes along.  It would be good to fix anything we are doing wrong, before muscle memory makes bad habits permanent.

Proper form is critical!!

1st opportunity will be at the FREDERICK MSSA FLEA MARKET on January 21. If you guys can go, Joe Cap will be doing a session at 10 Am on Salt Water Fly Fishing. We can grab him after that and have him give you gays a few pointers.

The next opportunity will be at TieFest on Feb. 25. There will be dozens of good casters that I know that will take you outside and show you the ropes.

We are planning to go to the Frederick show in the morning.  Tyler and I have a hockey game in Richmond later that afternoon.  I will coordinate with you as it gets closer. Definitely planning on Tiefest as well.

Of course.  Lets take this offline to coordinate.  Nobody else cares about our travel logistics.
