I was throwing a 2" mouse pattern with my 8wt and had 4 LMB attack the offering; two 6's, a 7 and an 8.
Maybe tomorrow I will break a foot....

Thanks for decoding.
I hit Goose Creek with the fly yesterday and landed a few small smallies and BG. Still so much fun on light tackle.

If you decide to hit Goose Creek on the Yak, and want some company, let Tyler or I know. Needs to be on a weekend, but we would love to do it. I keep looking at it on Google Maps and wanting to try it, but it would be great to do it with someone who has done it before. Do you do Goose Creek above the reservoir or from the reservoir down to the Potomac?
By the way, we just won the Coastal Cup Inline 14U National Championships this weekend!! Awesome competition and my team really delivered.

Figured you would be throwing the mulberry fly by now. The paths around the lake are pretty stained with them right now.

Let me know if you need a co-angler on the yellow yak! We can launch out of Landsdowne if you want a change of venue.

I was throwing mulberries into the water for 10-12 minutes to see if any carp would come up....zero! I was behind the bush and being stealthy.
The snapping turtles loved the fruit snack though....

The yaks are collecting dust.....once I get over the newness of the new toy, I will get out there.....eventually.

Ernie, I was watching some of the FLW coverage and the grass on the Potomac is looking very conducive to snakehead fishing....

I'm with you all on that one. Curly and I made a brief effort this past weekend to no avail.

I saw you out there flogging the water talking to a couple in a canoe while I was walking the dog. By the time we got around to that side you had called it a night.
