I went over to Cedar to enjoy the healthy population of small bass and bluegill and had a blast on the fly rod. I pretty much fished around the lake catching fish cast after cast. I never changed flies and caught them all on an orange streamer. Good times for sure.
Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when I went over to Killawog to see if anything lived in there after the draining event a few years back. I saw a ton of frogs and turtles, and unfortunately, a bloated deer carcass as well. Perhaps somebody should notify AVCA to remove that thing considering the potential bacterial implications of poisoning all living things in that lake as the deer rots.
